Students in the final year of the Information Systems with Business Management (ISBM) internal degree program from University of Westminster (UOW) are required to use the GLO-BUS simulation game as part of their assessment criteria on the Business Strategy module and compete as a team. The game is enormously popular amongst undergraduates and MBA students of other international universities as well, and encourages a high level of professional conduct in decision making and strategy planning.

It was developed in 2008 to help educate students in the field of Business Strategy focusing on competitive strategy in a truly global market arena. GLO-BUS is an online fully-automated business simulation game which helps business students by training them to devise successful business strategies.
